Julie Manuel
Julie Manuel is a mental health therapist working as a Psychotherapist and an EAP independent contractor. With 10 years of experience, she has worked in a variety of settings including Hospital Emergency Room, Domestic Violence Shelter, Public Schools, Non Profit agencies, Court ordered Programs and Drug and Alcohol Residential Programs. Julie specializes in individual, couples and family therapy. Areas of specialties include sexuality/gender issues, crisis intervention, PTSD, trauma, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, grief and bereavement, sexual abuse, career difficulties and gay/lesbian issues. With compassion and understanding, Julie focuses on helping clients finding positive pathways to better their lives and overcome obstacles currently standing in the way. She has a practical laid back approach to therapy and helps clients make choices to begin healing. Julie graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Sociology from Wright State University in 2001 and then earned her Master’s of Science Degree in Community Counseling in 2005. As a therapist, she continues to expand her education through programs focusing on PTSD, Crisis Intervention and Debriefing and EAP services.
